Every time you shop at BI-LO, 1% of the total spent PER VISIT would help us in caring for homeless families! Our goal is to raise $3,000 by May 2010.
Just think... if we could get at least 60 joiners to shop at BI-LO five times before May and spend $100 per visit, we will reach our goal!

Volunteers are the heart of SPIHN; without them, it cannot exist. Volunteer involvement and commitment enables more families to be sheltered at a minimal cost, which assists to expand the aspects of the program. Community support also shows guests that they are genuinely cared for. Beyond all these services, volunteers interact with the guests, treating them with nonjudgmental respect, responding with compassion and providing a source of hope. Need for Visionaries
Thanks to everyone for your care and concern, whether it has been physically by giving your time or spiritually with your prayers. We know that it is only by the tremendous amount of community support that our families experience positive change in a short period of time. However, it takes visionaries to positively change an entire community.
Our vision is to make homelessness a temporary phase in the lives of our guest-families by providing adequate and quality support so that we can continue to help them obtain housing and maintain independence after they have graduated from the program.
SPIHN has a serious need for Visionaries. By investing as a “Vision Partner”, you will be financially helping to alleviate homelessness in the community. I am asking for you to prayerfully consider pledging $20 a month for 12 months… that equals $240 over the span of one year. Our goal is for 300 partners to pledge to give $20 per month, which will underwrite half of our expenses each month.
I think Alfred A. Montapert said it best,
“To accomplish great things we must first dream, then visualize, then plan... believe... act!”
